Today was the day I had an appointment with my heart doctor in the morning and then the cancer doctor right after that. Everything is good. The cancer doctor asked if I had any new arthralgia and myalgia. I asked, what's that? Just aches and pains. It was cold this morning but Candy and I bundled up well and hiked the 5.5 miles down to Dennison Run and then up to the lookout on the Kennerdell Tract. One of our favorite hikes even though it has huge hills to climb. ( Some pictures HERE... )

Candy and I hiked at the Erie Wildlife Refuge today. I love these misty days. It is relatively warm today (above freezing with drizzle) and the snow has a fog over it in many places. ( Many, many (too many?) pictures HERE. )

Yesterday Candy and I walked to the Kennerdell Lookout. It was cold - only about 5F. A windchill of 12 below. More so than the distance walked it was the cold that made me feel exhausted afterwards. When I got home I ate some hot soup and then slept for 2 hours. ( Here's a few pictures... )

Hiking. Two different places. Sunday it was Dave, Rossy, Andy and me going out on the game lands to a hill overlooking Polk. We went out the wide open trail till it came to the woods. From there the trail winds its way through the trees and is harder to find, but all you have to do is stay on the top of the ridge till you get to the end. That's ( Read more... )
